CUSTOM ENAMEL PINS

Welcome to our custom enamel pin page, where your dream design becomes a reality. We love working with passionate people like you who have a vision and are excited to bring it to life. To ensure that we're a good fit for your project and can deliver the best results, we've put together some information about the process and what to expect.

Firstly, let's define what we mean by "custom." For us, a custom order is any request for 100 or more enamel pins with your unique design. Whether you have a fully formed idea or just a spark of inspiration, we're here to help you create something special. If you don't have artwork for your idea, no problem - we can provide design services for a fair artist fee.

Now, let's walk through the process of having your enamel pins produced. Here's what you'll need:

  • An idea: Bring your concept to us and we'll work together to make it a reality.
  • Schedule: From start to finish, the production process takes 3-5 weeks. Keep this in mind when planning your project timeline.
  • Artwork: If you have existing artwork, great! If not, we can help you create a design that captures your vision.

Here's what you can expect from the production process:

  1. Submit your project: Tell us about your idea and provide any relevant artwork or inspiration.
  2. The Dream Maker Artist will start creating your proof: Our talented team will create a digital proof of your design for you to review.
  3. You will approve the proof or request revisions for the perfect proof: We want you to be completely happy with your design, so we offer revisions at no extra charge.
  4. Once approved, you will sign off on the final production proof & pay your invoice.
  5. Once approved & paid: Dream Maker submits project for production.
  6. Our production team will bring your design to life using high-quality materials and techniques.
  7. Wait patiently for the tracking number for your pins to arrive on your doorstep: We'll keep you updated on the status of your order and provide a tracking number once your pins are on their way.
  8. Open your package like it's Christmas morning: Finally, the moment you've been waiting for! Enjoy your custom enamel pins and show them off to the world.

WHICH TYPE OF PIN DO YOU PREFER?

SOFT ENAMEL

Soft enamel pins are a popular type of lapel pin that feature a raised metal surface with recessed areas that are filled with colored enamel. The enamel is typically air-dried, which results in a slightly textured finish. Soft enamel pins are a great choice for designs with fine details or color gradients, as the recessed areas allow for more precise color placement. These pins have a slightly lower production cost than hard enamel pins, making them a popular choice for promotional products or large orders.

HARD ENAMEL

Hard enamel pins, on the other hand, have a smooth, polished surface due to the application of multiple layers of enamel that are heated to high temperatures. This results in a more durable and long-lasting pin, with a high-quality, jewelry-like finish. Hard enamel pins are often referred to as cloisonné pins, as they use a similar production method to traditional Chinese cloisonné enamelwork. These pins are ideal for designs with bold colors and strong lines, and are a popular choice for collectible pins or high-end jewelry pieces. Although they are more expensive to produce than soft enamel pins, the premium finish and durability of hard enamel pins make them a worthwhile investment.
