Touching moments and fundraising success at the Run for Rhabdo Research 5k event, supporting children battling Rhabdomyosarcoma.
The Run for Rhabdo Research 5k event at Peck Farm Park in Geneva, IL, was a day of unity and purpose. Participants, from runners to families with strollers, gathered not only for physical challenges but to raise funds for Avery's Rhabdo 'Blast' Project. Avery, a young superhero, had recently conquered Rhabdomyosarcoma after a battle that began at just 10 months of age. Dream Maker Pins' support, including gold ribbon enamel pins, silicone wristbands and custom awards. The event was a resounding success, raising over $3,200, with more contributions welcome. Join us in celebrating these superheroes' spirit and supporting pediatric cancer research—it's a cause that makes a real difference.
